European Choral Festival in Wiesbaden
It’s time to get your singing voices in shape because the Stimmen Bahás in Germany are celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2026 and what better way to do this than to host another Bahá'í Choral Festival?

Thu–Sat 14–16 May 2026: choir practice & rehearsal

Dear singing friends near and far,
It’s time to get your voices in shape because the Stimmen Bahás in Germany are celebrating their 25th anniversary next year, and what better way to do this than to host another Choral Festival from May 13–17, 2026?
You can be one of up to 100 singers from all over the world who will be learning a cappella choir music at home and then coming together for three days of intensive rehearsals to bring together two beautiful concerts of sacred music at the House of Worship in Langenhain, Germany on Sunday!
The music is being contributed by composers from all over the world especially for this occasion. Each piece varies in style and language, and all of them are intoned writings of the Báb, Bahá'ulláh and ‘Abdu'l-Bahá. Being provided with the sheet music and recordings of every single part well in advance, you will be able to sing in languages you don’t even speak! It will sound beautiful!
Our accommodations and rehearsals are at the Youth Hostel in Wiesbaden, Germany! The hostel is quiet and green, and only about a 20-minute walk from the city center.
We want to keep the costs as low as possible, but prices will vary depending on which accommodations you choose and how many choir directors, etc. participate. Over the next few weeks, we will be posting additional information and the registration link on this website. Until that time, we ask you to be patient and refrain from contacting the youth hostel.
It has come to our attention that some of you are disappointed that the rehearsals will not be taking place in the Hazira next to the House of Worship. Unfortunately, the Hazira will be under construction in order to accommodate larger groups of people and activities in the future. We hope that you will still consider participating in the festival, especially since the concerts will be in the House of Worship.
If you would like to contribute a melody or a finished choral piece to the festival, please send us your pieces no later than December 15th to: chor@bahai.de
